lighting and ceiling fans. Kichler products are available through authorized independent
lighting showrooms, electrical distributors, procurement companies, irrigation distributors and
select e-retailers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
The Business Analyst at Kichler works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit,
analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and
information systems. This person understands business problems and opportunities in the context of
the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Collaborate with project managers and sponsors to determine scope and vision

Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes and characteristics

Conduct interviews to gather user requirements using various methods

Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements

Research, review, and analyze existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or
further leveraging these processes

Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed upon
requirements and support purchasing efforts

Utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications

Create, process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to
developers and project team
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to project
managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree – BS, BA, BBA in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or
Information Systems
- 5+ years experience in the role of a Business Analyst
- Experience in Distribution and Manufacturing Business Models
- Previous ERP implementation experience is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of core business process and operations that include Order-to-Cash,
Purchase–to-Pay, Demand Planning and Fulfillment
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling,
verification, and methodology development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Project
- Experience with ERP, SharePoint, COGNOS, and Warehouse Management Systems
