Kichler Lighting a leader in interior and exterior decorative lighting, landscape
lighting and ceiling fans. Kichler products are available through authorized independent
lighting showrooms, electrical distributors, procurement companies, irrigation distributors and
select e-retailers
Major Responsibilities:
Emergency support of all user devices (PCs, laptop, OS, MS applications, and other unique
software with 24X7 support of software and hardware. Troubleshooting and making repairs with
uninterrupted attention until the systems are 100% back in compliance with Kichler’s production
needs.
Work with IT department personnel in support of overall IT strategy and projects when
required.
Experience Required:
College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Advanced degree (not a requirement - but considered a plus)
Technical certifications
5+ years of experience in supporting desktop platform in a multiple user environment
(troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving problems.
Knowledge of Desktop OS, Desktop Applications, Desktop diagnosis processes, help desk
processes and procedures.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Ability to communicate current issues to technical and non-technical personnel including
department staff.
Strong analysis, organization, oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
