ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
The Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role in developing and implementing quality policies
and procedures, and responsible for product quality from inception to end of life. This position
will interact with various functional groups including: Design, Engineering, Product Management and
both domestic and international suppliers.
- Coordinate day to day activities of both domestic and International staff with guidance from
the Director of QA.
- Stage Gate “Milestone Process” quality functions
- Product review and control plans
- Design and Process FMEA
- Root Cause and Corrective Action
- Staff Supervision
- International Travel
Specific work experience and job requirements for this position:
Electronics background required
- Previous experience in leading multi function teams
- Familiar with Stage Gate “Milestone Process” (New Product Development)
- Strong trouble shooting experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong data analysis and interpretation background
- Electronic manufacturing experience desired
- Extensive knowledge with DFEMA, PFMEA and PPAP process
- 5-10 years of Manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership role
- BA Degree -
- Six Sigma Black Belt, CQM,CQE preferred
