Kichler Lighting a leader in interior and exterior decorative lighting, landscape
lighting and ceiling fans. Kichler products are available through authorized independent
lighting showrooms, electrical distributors, procurement companies, irrigation distributors and
select e-retailers.
Responsibilities:
- All operational aspects of the Prophet 21 application in our Demo, Development, Test and
Production environments. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining Prophet 21
security, setting up user accounts, proactive application monitoring, quick response to application
related issues, conduct root cause analysis, coordinate resolution with Epicor support personnel
and or IT personnel, etc.
- Manage and perform upgrades and patches for the Prophet 21 application throughout the change
management process.
- Working with SQL Database Administrator to ensure periodic maintenance, archiving and backup
& recovery processes are performed and tested.
- Assist in the installation, configuration and support of Prophet 21 modules or ancillary
interfacing systems.
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Associate Degree with working experience equivalent considered)
- Knowledge of:

- Epicor’s Prophet 21 ERP
- Microsoft SQL Server
- MS SQL scripting
- Development experience in .Net, C#
- Crystal Reports or Other Reporting Tools
- Fundamental understanding of operations and financial reporting
- Proficiency in:
-
- Analytical and problem-solving skills (distinguishing between OS, HW, Database and/or
application failures).
- Process and procedural experience in developing, modifying and testing of system software.
- Can translate business/user requirements into application/systems software requirements.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Gathering and analyzing complex data with the ability to absorb and retain information
quickly.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills (focus on listening and questioning skills).
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to present ideas and facts in a user-friendly language to non-technical staff.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
