Kichler generously donated over 30 LED fixtures to The Landscape Lighting Institute
for the 2009 courses. Having access to that array of new technology equipment allowed, and, excited
the attendees to light a mature Oak tree entirely with Kichler LED equipment. Kichler showed me for
the first time that Kichler LED technology can provide us tools for most, if not all, of what we
will need to do in landscape lighting.

I rec’d some recent information from Sheffield showing the outdoor lighting cost for
January, February, and March in ‘08 and ’09 for the front entrance at SHOA. Obviously in ’08
everything was Halogen and in ’09 all have been converted to Kichler LED. It appears we have
a true $ savings between the 2 service offerings of 45 – 55%. This should provide us all some real
value over time!

I installed 25 new Kichler LED accent lights at a home in North Scottsdale one
wire #10 running approx 165ft with 22 lights on when we got there. Starting voltage was 12.6v at
trans ending voltage was 8.4v at last light. changed all the lights and added 3 more path lights.
ending voltage was 11.6 at last light very happy with the results!

I was impressed at the measures Kichler takes to ensure the highest level of
quality fixtures. It is easier to sell a product I believe in. The tour of the warehouse was
very interesting and product overview was very informative. It has inspired me to create a display
